For Hotels Only: At time of submission, we ask only that you provide calendar year 2023 and 2024 metrics (electricity, gas, and water). In early 2025, before the recognition ceremony, we will reach out and ask you to send all relevant data for your business. This will encompass: water, electricity, recycling, green waste, and gas.

For Events, Grocery Stores, Office, Retail, Restaurant, and Foodservice applicants: we will collect documentation during the site visit. Typically, this involves verification of items you marked on the checklist (Energy Star equipment, packaging for eco-products, etc.)

For 10-Entry Level Program applicants: Documentation will be a minimum of one photo per checklist item. If you are in contact with a Clean Energy Wayfinder, please let them know any questions you may have.

Please complete the electricity, gas, water, recycling and green waste metrics using the HGBP Hotel Metrics template 2023-2024.xlsx (https://greenbusiness.hawaii.gov/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/HGBP-Hotel-Metrics-template-2023-2024.xlsx). Then, upload your utility bills showing the monthly usage for Jan-Dec 2023 and Jan-Dec 2024. [Note: the yearly metrics are listed on the end-of-year bill—but if not available yet, please submit the most recent bill].
